I use mailchimp.com for my online marketing campaigns. I used to use Constant Contact, but on the advice of my virtual assistant, mailchimp has more capabilities, so I switched. I was looking around on it today at some recent activity and saw this message along with a list of people who had unsubscribed:
Nuts, you had a few people jump ship. Ah, who needs them anyway?
They’re encouraging when new people sign up for my information:
Nice! Guess people like what you’re saying.
I know it’s an inanimate object, but positive reinforcement helps, whatever the source.
…and once again the great debate…which is better and why? Use cc but have friends that love mail chimp…afraid to change but may be merited…and now you tease me here to contemplate mail chimp a little more seriously.
Ha, love that mailchimp says what might be in my head!! Will check them out. Thanks for pointing this out!
@Ruth
I also tried infusionsoft.com which has amazing tagging features, but costs a fortune. I tried it for about 4 months and changed to mailchimp at that point. Switching systems can be a pain, but it can also be a pain not to get the full range of capability you need.
@Susan
A definite sign!
Humor. An absolute, undeniable, irrefutable MUST. What’s life (and work) without it?
@Julie
Agreed! I just love when it shows up in unexpected places like mailchimp.
Jane, which features of mailchimp do you find you use the most?
Thanks.

@Lisa
I have to confess to it being my VA’s choice, not mine. I think it has more ability to auto-respond than CC did.
